I think because of some of those shots that we decided to take, our shooting percentages weren't as high as normal.
Funny enough, I think the three-point percentage, 34.5%, I thought that wasn't bad there.
That's right around where we kind of would like this team to be.
You're like, okay, and we talked about if we can shoot 35%, we're going to win most ballgames, and I think that's good.
But 52% from two, you feel like that's โ
a decent number, but we're normally in the 60s when it comes to two points.
And their shooting percentage overall was 42.6%.
We would love for that to be over 50% as a whole for the game.
So, again, some of these shots here and there, some of these mid-rangers here and there, you turn those into closer shots or shots beyond the three-point line, I feel like those averages kind of go quite a bit up.
And I would love to see that two-point percentage increase
be well into the sixties.
Cause that means that we're dictating the tempo.
We're also dictating how, you know, the war inside and the trenches in the paint, if we're controlling that and we're having a percentage in the sixties, the high sixties, there's not a lot of ball game.
A lot of teams out there.
They're going to compete with us.
Yeah, again, this goes back to kind of the start they had.
And again, credit Clemson on some of those turnovers.
But again, it's just about mentally being in the game from the jump, mentally knowing where your guys are, awareness, calling out mine, mine, mine, in the case of like a pad or a cam.
In that point, if you're going up with your own teammate, be selfish.
