But he still was able to affect everything in this game.
And you talked about that trench war inside.
Glad we have Boozer in our team because that was the advantage that we always had.
And once he was able to get in there and kind of, you know, figure out Clemson's defense, it helped so many things open up because they had to use so many resources to try and stop him.
Yeah, I mean, that kind of leads me to the defense because midway through the second half, I think Clemson had just made it 40, 43 points.
And I was texting one of my friends and said, man, I would love to keep this game, keep Clemson under 50 the rest of the game.
And as soon as I said that, they hit two threes, and they got to 49 points.
But Jason, they held that until the final, what, 35 seconds of the game when they finally hit a layup to get to 51, eventually ended with 54.
But the defense, despite some of the shooting struggles that Duke had, the defense held Clemson to 35% from the floor, 42% from two-point, and 25% from three.
They didn't let them go to the free throw line.
I mean, and the tough-nosed defense that we saw, I would be remiss, Jason, if we didn't mention that also Coach K was in the house.
It was his birthday on Friday.
Happy 79th to the GOAT.
But again, you could tell that
A game like this, battle for first place in the ACC, all these celebrities and the GOAT in the house and Jason in the house, everyone wanted to be on their P's and Q's when it came to defense.
And sure, the shooting sometimes struggled throughout the game.
And that was partly due to shot selection, but also partly due to Clemson playing some really tough physical defense in the first, especially 15 minutes of the game.
But I just appreciate the fact that no matter what,
Duke was like, hey, if we're going to struggle on offense, that's fine.
You're going to struggle even more.
