Duke is just going to be complacent and let us shoot these shots and we're going to hit 59 percent of them from two.

And we're just going to keep doing this until maybe they figure this out.

And it just felt like we knew we had the lead.

We knew we had a chance to put away.

It just didn't feel like we wanted to do it.

And I just want to point out a couple of things from.

postgame notes.

Isaiah Evans mentioned the 2001 national champions being there.

They were honored at halftime.

And he mentioned that nobody wants to lose in front of them.

And they did what we're trying to do, win a national championship.

And so we were trying to impress them a little bit.

Well, they weren't really impressing them in the second half.

I'm sure in the first half, there was a lot to be said about the defense.

But in the second half, it just felt like they didn't put the game away when they had a chance to.

Cam Boozer also said after the game, he said, quote, when we get leads and we get kind of comfortable and we've got to find a way to figure that out, we've got to figure out what we do when we get leads because we're not handling it well right now, end quote.
