And as Duke has been the class of the ACC, Virginia has been right there, right behind them.
And this is another one versus two, at least in the conference, matchup on Saturday.
So, Jason, let's talk about their metrics.
Talk about why they are so good.
Start with the offense.
I'm sure you're probably going to start with the defense because we normally talk about defense when it comes to Virginia.
Going back to the defense, I think the one thing that I always see with Virginia that has carried over from the pack line defense that Tony Bennett had to Ryan Odom's defense is they are always good at just keeping guys in front of them.
And frustrating them by, as you mentioned, having a slow tempo, making it where you're running the shot clock out and at with two or one left on the clock, you're throwing up a bad shot because you realize that the clock is about to expire.
They're not trying to go necessarily for steals.
Yeah, they may try on occasion.
They may try to force you to throw the ball away with some traps, but they're not a team that's going to force you.
They're not going to go for broke is the real answer here.
They're going to try and keep guys in front of them and make it where you are frustrated.
You have to try and pass the ball around to get a good shot.
And then after that...
You sit there with two, three seconds left on the clock.
You go, we're 27 seconds in.
We haven't got a good shot.
I just got to throw the ball up and hope that I can get the rebound and start over.
So that's kind of what they do on defense.
