They're just about, you know, so like the numbers are, you know, they're just about just about OK.
And so but actually their habitats are getting worse.
You know, light pollution is a huge issue.
Having, you know, all the lights and there's no dark places that they can go.
The orange lights aren't so bad for attracting the moths.
The LED lights, the only good thing about them is that they're very directional.
So you can actually have them that they completely, you know, whatever, shine on what's needed, the road or whatever, and they don't spill up into the sky.
So, but like now, I think everybody's getting a lot more careful about dark sky areas, making zones in places and making villages, dark sky villages.
I live up near Baileyborough and there's a group, they're friends of Castle Lake and they're looking at how can they get the dark skies areas right around the village and tracks through the village.
