What are we doing here, Donnie?
Well, let's also think back to just two years ago.
We had somebody in a pretty similar situation.
come up Paul Skeens he was the top prospect in baseball he was the next big thing when it came to starting pitching and he has proved to be that I thought like we had pretty lofty expectations for that guy and he exceeded them the expectation was to win rookie of the year his worst start as a rookie was probably his debut and he still did things in that debut that were like wow like get out of your seat and
be amazed wow from Paul Skeens he went on to unanimously win the rookie of the year he went on to unanimously win the Cy Young in his second season so I can understand like yesterday you know Pony saying the guy was going to be better than Barry Bonds I think that might be getting a little bit out ahead of ourselves but we should have high expectations for this kid I know he's only 19
He's the top prospect in the game.

I know it's right around the corner.
24th, I think it is.
Regardless, he is coming into a situation where,

If he doesn't hit 300, not the end of the world.
If it's like a 250 or 260 average, I'll live with that if the guy's knocking 20 to 25 balls out of the stadium, which I think he could absolutely do.
He's going to be a stolen base threat every time he's on.
And he, unlike some others that have come through โ
