With all the people you have breaking down every single muscle firing and synapse from this guy's entire college career.
And they still can't predict.
It's still not predictive.
And here's why.
Here's why.
Nobody can recreate the pressure they're going to face both in the pocket.
And in the secondary, the speed, the athleticism, the schemes, the level of pass rush that they'll see in the NFL.
And so much of it is about processing.
And there's just not a good process.
grounds for measuring will this translate college football's not good enough it's not comparable enough to say is that guy going to be able to process at the necessary speed at the NFL level and stand in there and take hits and be able to make plays all of that and processing to me becomes you know you have to have the talent obviously but that becomes in many ways the most important thing can you or can you not process the game
And I have no idea.
And neither do they.
Neither does some guy.
Neither does Nate Sheelhass, who's probably sitting over in the Rams offices right now in a in a darkened room at nine twenty seven in the morning in L.A.

Every snap this dude's ever taken.
He called his high school coach.
He's pouring over every high school snap.
He probably called his peewee coach.
He's looking at Ty Simpson when he was 5'3 as a seventh grader.
