Here's a guy who's only 43 years old, twice coach of the year, I think a very good offensive mind, who was absolutely crushed by his own team owner when they sold their soul for Deshaun Watson.
Absolutely crushed and ruined.
But you remember how hot of a candidate he was.
And the fact of the matter is, even though he wasn't on the sidelines that day, he actually won a playoff game in Cleveland.
There should be a statue of that guy in Cleveland, not a firing.
And here he is, only at 43.
I think Flores is a good candidate.
And I think the Steelers would be just downright silly to strike down the idea, and I know they're interviewing Flores, but strike down the idea of hiring someone who has coached somewhere else.
And it's not just Andy Reid himself.
And Belichick, who won Super Bowls this century so far as retreads, it's been a number of other guys from Kubiak to Pete Carroll to several others have won Super Bowls.
So I'm not against that idea.
You?
But, you know, I don't reallyβ You don't sound excited about it, Donnie, about either one.
Those wouldn't be your guys.
Well, I just told youβ You already said your guys would be younger.
Right near Schielhaus, right?
Yeah, but if we hear thatβ If they hired Stefanski, would you rip them?
Well, a huge selling point with Stefanski, again, is that he's only 43.
He's really, in many ways, still just getting started in his coaching career.
You could have him for 20 years.
