Are you?
coaches again he resigned we we had the same convert like i know i you know i was younger but like the same conversations were had about bill cower yeah never coached again i know sometimes once they get out of it and they realize there's a life to be had uh and the money it money enough for generations to come you realize maybe maybe i just want to live now kind of like ron had that revelation
Ron read that Jimmy Johnson book, Quality Time Left, QTL, and off he went to Florida.
You could have knocked me over with a feather, Donnie.
Next.
Andy Weidel looks like he's staying because the Falcons went out and got themselves a GM.
I'm assuming you think this is good news for the Steelers?
Not unless the combine's at 1137 Greenfield Avenue.
weidel's the only one that's down at the senior bowl right now i'm sure with some other scouts but he's the only person in the front office that's that's present all right well that gets us to one thing mike mccarthy certainly will be doing and is doing and is doing rather quickly and that's putting together his staff limits why don't you crack thank you patrick graham i mean this is this is a gigantic hire
You've got two sides of the football, last I checked, offense and defense.
Mike McCarthy's control, he's Andy Reid.
He's calling the plays, he completely controls the offensive side, and he hands the defensive side with, I think, almost total autonomy to his next coordinator.
So to me, it's right up there with the McCarthy hire, is who's controlling the defense?
Who's the defensive coach of the team?
It looks like it's going to be Patrick Graham in a minute or less, Donnie, because I want to get to some calls at the end of the hour.
Your thoughts?
Yeah, I hear you.
That's actually a good point.
It's just...
It's sort of like anything else where is it a function of what was around him?
