Yeah, which is, I mean, I guess it makes sense.
You're performing most nights when you're on the road and you can, like you said, sneak in the odd one or maybe sneak in a minor league one.
But your relationship with baseball goes back pretty far.
I remember reading on your sub stack last summer about your relationship with baseball and how big it was to you as a kid.
For any of our audience who doesn't know that, can you walk me through a little bit about, you know, your baseball fandom when you were younger and where that is today still?
Yeah, and that's so fun to read about.
So we have Levi Weaver of The Athletic comes on sometimes, and he plays not in that Sandlot League, but in a Sandlot League, and it's cool to hear about what that's like.
So this started, what, South by Southwest in 2024?
You got hooked up with the Texas Playboys, and it kind of developed from there?
Yeah, it's cool, and it's cool.
I mean, there are a few different things.
Like, Official League, I know, has done a bunch of indie music and minor league baseball collaborations that you've gotten to be a part of as well.
I do want to ask you about that, but how did your team do?
Because I know when you wrote in the substack,
Your team in 2025 did not do particularly well when you went down and played the Playboys.
Did it go a little better this year?
Nice.
The term never meet your heroes.
It never pitched your heroes.
Okay, so I mentioned you had done the Kansas City Monarchs merch collab, and Official League does a bunch of these things with indie musicians and minor league baseball teams, which the 2026 ones are starting to roll out now, which are really cool.
