And we begin in the Middle East, where Israel says it identified incoming missiles fired from Iran.

The Israeli military says at this time the Israeli Air Force intercepted those missiles.

Now, Iran warned it would respond with force against Israel and its allies should Israel retaliate.

In the meantime, President Trump tried to de-escalate the situation.

He told Fox News he still wants a negotiated solution as he urged Iran to resume negotiations.

And separately, Trump told Axios he would press Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to retaliate.

Earlier in the day, Trump reiterated Iran must not have a nuclear weapon.

And in that same interview, President Trump said the Fed would be wrong to raise interest rates.

His remarks follow a blowout jobs report from last Friday.

Trump also said he does not want to influence Fed Chair Kevin Warsh before he chairs his first Fed meeting.

Now, Warsh is set to chair his first meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee, June 16th and 17th.

Aviation leaders are gathering in Brazil to tackle challenges in the air travel industry.

Summer demand is expected to be strong despite higher jet fuel prices and increased fares.
