eliminate that lining so the vein stays closed.
That's all done on local anesthesia.
There are no cuts or marks really.
It's just basically a small needle hole where we pass all the equipment we need in through that.
So if you're doing radiofrequency, you put a radiofrequency catheter.
If you're doing laser, you put a laser catheter.
And then we do something called tumescent anesthesia.
So basically, inside the vein, there's no nerve endings.
But if you burn with a laser RF, it will be painful.
And so what we do is we basically put numbing through into the muscle layer or into the superficial layer.
And that allows you to do the procedure.
And then the other way with the glue.
Yeah.
That was a major advent.
Also, that happened in the 90s.
