And eventually that can lead to ulcerations.
And so, you know, we don't see it often.
I'd say every day, but there are definitely patients come in with recurrent ulcers.
And so this is a very important thing to treat that, obviously.
Besides that, the symptoms probably can go on for a long time and not really be a problem.
And obviously the cosmetic issues.
But if you have skin changes, then you are at high risk for ulcers.
And once an ulcer develops, it takes months to heal.
It's obviously painful.
It's something you want to treat proactively if you can.
And then finally, they do bleed.
So what happens is if you have very large veins, you're under a lot of pressure because it's engorging the vein and the skin is thinned.
So sometimes with minor trauma, you bump into something or something minor happens and suddenly it starts bleeding.
And the bleeding can look very profuse.
You can actually need transfusion, something at the emergency room.
Oh, wow.
It'll certainly look like it was American Psycho.
blood everywhere oh my god yeah so that's happening you know same thing it should be treated you don't want to you know you don't have to worry you're on a in a plane and when your bronchitis is bleeding oh my god you know they're gonna land emergently so you don't want that to happen
