I really do feel like there are so, so many doctors or lawyers, like, you know, it's a career track because you go to school for so, so long.
And it's this idea of like, okay, I'm stuck.
I have, I'm often like the informal career counselor.
for so many of my doctor friends and colleagues, because so many people are feeling stuck and feeling like there's no way out.
What a great question.
I really do feel like there are so, so many doctors or lawyers, like, you know, it's a career track because you go to school for so, so long.
I would actually say to people who might, where that resonates and you might be at a job for like 20 years in a company and you're trying to make partner or whatever it may be.
And it's this idea of like, okay, I'm stuck.
I have, I'm often like the informal career counselor for so, so many of my students.
And you're like, oh, I just feel so stuck.
It's not really a departure.
Dr. Fred's and colleagues, because so many people are feeling stuck and feeling like there's no way out.
So, you know, when I did, when I made this pivot, it wasn't a real departure for me because I was still using all of those skills.
I would actually say to people who might where, you know, that resonates and you might be at a job for like 20 years in a company and you're trying to make partner or whatever it may be.
So nothing is really ever wasted.
So the connection, you know, the skills of building rapport and the therapeutic connection that I made with patients, I just translated that into the written word.
And you're like, oh, I just feel so stuck.
It's not really a departure.
So then I wrote about that.
So, you know, when I made this pivot, it wasn't a real departure for me because I was still using all of those skills.
