And Matt also said to me before we started the interview that he spent some time in Ireland in his younger years traveling around the country.

It's interesting the amount of people I've spoken to actually with Irish connections.

Matt, first and foremost, I think a lot of our listeners will be young graduates starting out their career.
Always interesting to get some background.
What was your driving motivation starting out your career?
And your PhD, what was your thesis?
What did you study?
It's great advice.
I also started my career, believe it or not, doing political science.
I did a BA, an arts degree in University of Galway many, many moons ago.
And actually one of the most interesting things I ever studied, subjects I ever studied.
So talking about global balance of power.
Okay, I understand the global.
I understand the power, I think.
It's the balance part that's a little bit tricky for obvious reasons.
