Why do you never have your hands behind your back when you're with a psychotic patient?
Because they can't see what you're doing with your hands.
And if they can't see what you're doing with your hands, maybe you're doing something shady.
So instead I'm going to show my hands.
I'm going to show that they're empty.
Maybe I'm going to eat something.
I'm going to pull out some crackers.
I'm going to open the crackers.
I'm going to be like, hey, bro, you want a cracker?
So I'm going to do everything that I can.
