Yeah.
So it's how fast your heart is beating when you're exercising, because that's a good indicator of how hard you're working.
Your maximum heart rate is calculated by 220 minus your age.
So we're both 45.
So 220 minus 45 is what, Cherry?
So minus 40 is 180, 175.
So our maximum heart rate it should ever be when we're exercising is 175, 220 minus 45.
But that is only when we're exercising at the most intense, high intensity training that we're doing.
So something like high rocks.
Do you do high rocks?
It is true.
I'm keen to try it, actually, to be honest.
So in terms of our heart rate, high intensity would be 75 to 80 percent of our maximum heart rate.
You can't maintain that for very long.
You know, it's short bursts of high intensity exercise.
The sweet spot really is this moderate exercise exercise.
when we're at 50 to 70% of our maximum heart rate.
So for you and I, that would be 80, about 100, a heart rate of about 90 to 100, where we can talk, but we can still exercise at the same time.
So that's the kind of sweet spot that most people aspire to.
But those are the heart rates that people are talking about.
