It had an impact on generations, particularly the younger generation, the generation that are going to be the leaders in 10, 15 years.

We, on purpose, set up an international music that's creating music for more for the diaspora, but trying to keep that music industry alive because, you know, ultimately I think Afghans want music.

They prefer to listen to Afghan music rather than Western music or Turkish, Iranian or Indian music.

So ideally we don't end up in a scenario where if it becomes legal again or people are able to listen again that we're starting everything from scratch again.
