Keith is now a longtime urologist in Alberta, now at UC Irvine, just an incredibly gifted surgeon and a great person.
The field has really evolved to the point where our fellowships now, instead of you have to get like 100 urethroplasties, I think the total now is 60, but you have to, there's like four different domains and you have to be at least strong to have a fellowship in two of those domains.
They're cancer survivorship, prosthetics, penile cases, can't remember all of them, but I think,
Those changes reflect how our field's evolving and reflect how there's not one way to define us.
We're not defined by one case.
We're not defined by urethra.
I think urethra is still sort of core to what we do.
And I think when you define what a fellowship in GERS is, I think that's sort of the glue.
But in the future, maybe that comes under debate.
I don't know.
And hopefully we figure out urethral stricture and get away with it.
Don't ever have to do urethroplasties, right?
But it's still one of the more common cases that we do.
If you look at anybody's practice, everybody's practice is a little different in what they're focusing on.
Some people are doing more abdominal cases.
Some people are doing more prosthetics.
Some people are doing more skin things.
So it's really variable.
Yeah.
What's your what's your perspective?
