We're all watching lots of content on Instagram, TikTok, much of which is great.
It's well produced.
It's matched to our interests.
And so I.
Are we addicted?
Yes.
Is it an addiction because it's offering better content than many other things in our life?
In some sense, yes.
So I'm a little torn on it.
The other thing that we've all noticed, though, is that people don't seem to be happy when they spend time scrolling on it.
they're kind of tempted to do it, but when they finish, they never feel like, wow, that was really a great experience.
They're kind of drained from it.
So in that sense, it has the characteristics of an addiction where you keep going back to it, even though you're not getting the high from it that you did the first time.
This is precisely why all these kids have the opportunity, I think, to be so much smarter than we were.
Yeah, I'm just super enthusiastic about it.
And now with AI, it can be even a whole different level.
I mentioned this thing before about using AI to debate, but just even in general, just saying, hey, I'm curious about this.
