And I think she really opened my eyes to that, you know, we have to meet women where they're at.
We have to really be open to what they want for their lives.
We have to ask them what brings you joy and how is this affecting your ability to access that and then really care for what we all want, which is the whole person.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think that we all have kind of supported each other in these different chapters.
And so many women have these careers where we thought we had to look a certain way or be a certain way and that there was only one path to it.
And certainly for women and their sexuality, it seems like there's joy at every age.
Yeah, I love that.
No.
And honestly, I take care of women all day, every day.
And I, till I wrote this book, I had no idea that Alzheimer's was two times more common in women than men.
How did I not know that?

Me neither, until I heard Lisa Moscone speak.
Yes, and it points to the devaluing of our cognitive function over time and the dismissal of women's cognitive health, of our brain health, of our mental health.
You know, and I also think about one of the things that really fascinated me looking at the history of medicine was these women that were put in asylums for reading romance novels, for wanting to have more sex than their husband wanted to have.
Well, whoa, there's a real problem there.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
And the number of women that have died in asylums for seemingly normal questions.
