Yeah, in fact, I've done very similar ones to them.
Yeah, particularly around ADHD and particularly around going back to the memories of being in the classroom and, like, memories of, you know, really struggling and...
The therapist comes in and talks to the teacher or talks to the other kids and just, you know, and it doesn't have to go into bully attack mode from the therapist's point of view.
It can just be firm, assertive response to, you know, to really change how that part is being experienced.
That's a really good question.
because we would never, like I would never dive into doing really what we're talking about is exposure work.
So doing imagery work is exposure work.
So we really want to be resourcing someone with like distress tolerance skills.
So that is like skills to help you when you're getting overwhelmed.
So, you know, and for anyone that is entering therapy, you know, yes, you might want to seek out a therapist that might specialise in trauma for a start.
And it's this notion here that we have to have a sense of safety and stabilised safety in order to do the work.
So it would be really, in my mind, harmful and unhelpful to go to the imagery work.
quickly.
It takes quite a long time.
And so we really want to be making sure that you have enough skills to bring you back into your window of tolerance to be able to do the work.
We don't want to flood you with these traumatic images or traumatic experiences.
It would just be too much for the body and the mind to deal with.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, this is, in terms of therapy, this is really important work, but it needs to be undertaken, obviously with a lot of care and attunement.
