On Saturday, this Saturday, I'm doing a party to celebrate my book.
In the book, which is full color, I have pictures of all the people that I've worked with and helped.
You don't really read a book in color.
And in here is Body by Jake.
And I tell the story all the time about how Jake discovered me.
And three weeks ago, I was in LA and I filmed Jake telling me that story.
It's like meeting your mentor.
Full circle moment where he said, I saw lots of people.
He said, there was only one you.
He said, I wanted to hire six people.
And it was because there was a pen on the table.
And he said, sell me this pen.
And I'm like, oh, dude, I grew up broke.
So I looked at the camera and I said, funny thing about pens.
My mom, when I went off to college, I was 15 and a half.
I was so nervous and insecure.
She used to write me longhand notes and I would race to the mailbox to get them.
