So it wasn't going to be an issue for me.
We would have come off the worst.
But because my daughter was there and I needed to protect her, I had this real internal battle of a primal instinct.
To physically deal with this myself, because that's the way it was going, or to de-escalate it, protect my daughter, ignore everything that they were roaring at us and shouting at us.
They were spitting down at my feet.
This was right, you know, along the line.
And my daughter moved into me and she just said, please, mum, don't.
like don't react.
So I just like lowered my head until they moved off.
But there was about eight, nine, ten of them.
And then there was another two stragglers.
And they were just the abuse that they go around on.
So my point and why I'm ringing today is I'm asking Irish society, why are we putting a band aid over a massive, disgusting issue that we have?
And in my opinion, our issue is men and boys.
We are not paying enough attention to their upbringing, to their surroundings, to what they do outside.
They have complete say over how they should perform in public with no responsibility, with no accountability, because they know that they can, as that gentleman on the security guard said, the law does not favour us, it favours them.
So what do we do?

I'm asking all the young men and older men in society and in Ireland right now, well, you could say across the planet, like when we give a look at the state of the place, but I'm asking all men and boys who really do care and who think this behaviour is inappropriate and who admit that there's a gender bias in this kind of behaviour, I would like you to maybe just pay attention, stand up for us,
