then then that's part of the issue as well we are asking our men and our boys to stand up we are asking for accountability we are asking for the people that are around us when we're standing on the lewis to pay attention we need a hardcore security service that can come in and crack down like they do in say gothenburg or stockholm and sweden you wouldn't even look
sideways at another person you have manners and you have respect and they have a judicial system like we say law and a judicial system that follows up you get black marks you cannot even get near those trans services down those streets yeah Olivia listen stay with us but I just have to take a very short break back in a moment and Mel is on the line Mel I know you're listening to the conversation and to Olivia what do you think?
We're all getting cross lines here.
Mel, that was really good.
Thank you so much.
Like, on behalf of myself and lots of women and girls, it's like reassuring to hear that you're being a responsible human and rearing your three boys the way that you do.
Very, very grateful.
I do the same with myself.
I have...
I have three sons and they all like will call people out, even their friends.
And my sons are not like confrontational people.
They're smart, intelligent, mannerly, you know, as far as like.
Now, when I say manners, I mean respect for other humans.
I don't mean like just weird manners that you have to do this and you have to do that in society.
they're brought up to be decent humans and they can smell this stuff a mile off.
They've even called out, you know, various people in their class or in their social scene, you know, for misbehaving.
Like one of my sons, he works in a local bar and he maybe would go in and get, you know, some, a bag of chips on the way home when he's finished his rounds.
And he just said the disrespect from men across the board, even like to like the local chip shop, if it's a woman that's serving them, um,
I'm I just until we all realise that it's a gender issue and we stopped like diluting it with not all men you know it's chronic like I know somebody like a friend of mine I hope he's not listening we use abroad but he he decided he's an Irish lad and he's in Sweden and I think it was him or his mate decided you know when they're out for a few pints they decided to pull a Mooney you know just
on a street towards a Swedish police station.
