He doesn't regret it.

They love being at the Mass.
They love bringing their children with them.
The children want to see.
They'd love it up in the front, but they are afraid that everybody will be disturbed by the crying, so they won't do it.
Of course it is, because it's one of these things you learn by doing.
Although we're designed in such a way to make that possible, right?
Right.
I mean, we're designed with a view to marriage and family life.
We have in us inclinations to affection with our spouses, with our procreative partners.
We have in us inclinations to love these children.
They seem adorable to us.
And, you know, there's something to be said even for a snotty nose, you know, when the kid...
holds his head up and you wipe that little nose.
You were raised a Protestant.
The sequence was I was raised a Protestant.
I was raised in a very devout Baptist household.
That's right.
