So she's got all this blood and she's basically let it into this bowl.
Now, we know that what you're seeing here is actually a conjuring event.
They're actually summoning a patron god of the city.

She's actually, like, a magical ritual, right?
We know from other contexts that the folks that are involved in this, it's usually a procreative act.
And so there's usually a male-female pair that does this.
