Like, you can have an impact on future generations of doctors.
I think that is incredible work.
Yeah.
It could be challenging, very, very challenging at the same time.
And it's probably, I've heard other people equate it and I have to agree.
Like I didn't understand what they said at first, but they said this is like middle management, completely middle management, right?
You get told what to do and then you've got to execute it and like make it seem like it's your idea or you're part of it, even if you maybe don't agree or...
You have to sell it to the people.
So I get that now.
I was told that years ago and I finally get it.
There is no other job I can imagine being happy with.
This is this is what I was meant to do.
I love being a program director.
There's a lot.
I think it takes a village and you as a person have to actually open your mind enough to listen, especially with maybe some really tough feedback at times.
But there is one person in particular who is at our institution and
And she was one of my main mentors when I first took the job as program director.
And she was the one that got me through my first really difficult year when I didn't know what I was doing at all.
And I thought that I had to be this person that wasn't really me.
I was afraid to make a mistake.
