If you want the best out of me, it would be really helpful if we could look at some coaching at work, if we could look at a colour-coded diary, if we could look at a quiet room to work in, if we could look at flexible working. And the difficulty with that, Alex, if I'm honest, is that it puts a lot of emphasis on the individual to be self-aware enough and also to know what they can ask for.

And that is a lot of emphasis on the individual. Unfortunately, though, because neurodiversity is diverse, every individual's needs are going to be different. So we can't expect a company to go blanket, everybody gets this. What we can expect of businesses is we have a universal design approach. You've heard of universal design? Yeah.

It's all the basic stuff. And neurodiversity inclusion would be fit within that. But it requires the neurodivergent to be able to say, what really helps me is flexible working or really explicit instructions. This is a big issue, is when companies are vague. Oh, God, my bugbear. Somebody asked me to do something and they don't give me a deadline.

It's like, it will not happen unless there is a deadline. I need to know when, otherwise it's literally not going to happen. Unless it's something I'm really interested in doing, in which case I'm probably already doing it.

It's about a culture where outsider voices are included and an effort is made to ensure that everybody's voices are included.
