Really good question. So, yeah, there's a key word in there and that word is incompetence. I think a bit of a cognitive reframe. You're not incompetent. Maybe there's just certain things that you struggle with. If you can raise awareness of what the things are that are difficult and go into a job

Really kind of going, these things will be difficult for me and ask for help with those as soon as you can. And the other thing is to raise awareness of your strengths. What do you bring to a business?

Because when a business can see, actually, this person's really good at this particular thing, it may be customer service, it may be that you're really good working in a team, it may be that you're really good working to a deadline. When you can explain your strengths and also explain what you need help, support with, that really, really helps.

I would say take that kind of self-awareness piece of these are the things I struggle with, please can I have help, and these are the things I actually would recognise as strengths that I bring to this business. And also self-care, that's the other thing, is that ADHD gets worse when we're sleep deprived or when we've had too much to drink or anything to drink or when we haven't exercised.
