Because it's got stadium seating.
That's down Jesus.
It's got stadium seating.
And so every soul is ranged in that rose, and they are sitting.
They've got numbered seats, and so when you get there, you get your number, and you sit in your assigned seat, which shows your rank in the hierarchy.
So you can see exactly where you fit in, which, again, that's a good thing.
It allows you to rejoice in the particularities of where you are.
So when Cato gets there, and by my supposition, takes the absolute last seat, the lowest place downstate, the guy who barely is to get it in, right?
He's going to sit there and see all of these innumerable souls ranged above him and recognize, oh man, how lucky I am just to be on the show, right?
Just to have pulled that last ticket just in time at the last moment.
And, of course, at the top of this, you've got the Blessed Virgin Mary.
You've got John the Baptist.
The state in China is divided into two teams, Old Testament versus New Testament, right?
Which, again, is to show the ordering of the works of God.
And this is a beautiful image of how the work that God does in history continues into eternity, right?
in a transformed sense, that we can see that ordering and that division that's made there.
And then something that I think people spend way too little time on, if the gathering is a rose, the angels are like bees buzzing about the rose pollinating.
Well, what does it mean to pollinate?
It means you go to the flower and you take from what it's produced and you take that with you and you wind up spreading it to other flowers.
And so the angels are facilitating the transfer of knowledge of God, if you will.
