And sometimes they lock you in, in a very dangerous way.
I saw this a lot when I was faculty at Harvard where, you know, so a lot of these kids like, I had a friend who was at Harvard Law School and I asked him, you know, what's your first year like?
And he's like, it's terrible.
And I was like, that's weird.
And he said that one of the worst things that, I asked him the same question, why?
He said, one of the worst things that you can do is take a bunch of kids who used to be the smartest in the class and make them average.
Happens overnight.
And now suddenly you're average.
You're below average.
There is a kid who's at the bottom of the class at Harvard Law School.
what do you think it's like to be in the mind of that kid?
He's the stupidest kid in the class.
And this is Harvard.
So when he sees other smart kids, like we're talking about like the smartest kid in that class is brilliant on a completely different level.
Like I remember when I was an intern, I was in the coffee line, line to get coffee at four o'clock.
And one of my co-interns was with me.
And like, you know, we were on a rotation together.
He was an intern at Madison Dock.
I was just talking to him.
I was like, yeah, I have a patient with this.
