So I don't think โ and the reason I kind of mentioned that tangent is because this idea of is it good or bad.
That kind of black and white thinking is very biological.
But that's not what reality is, even though it's biological.
We think about things as good or bad, right?
So I think it's both good and bad.
So I think this is where I have kind of like this detached like Vairagya kind of perspective, which is like it is what it is.
So it has certain effects.
Then you decide if you want those or not, right?
So on the one hand, it clearly pushes us to be financially secure, but it comes at like a price, which is usually like peace, contentment, this kind of stuff.
Like I'm sure your parents are really proud of you now, right?
But it's like, it hurts.
Oh, I mean, I don't know about your parents.
It sounds like your parents were pretty good.
But it hurts that, or I'm sure all of your uncles are proud of you now.
Not to talk crap about them, but it hurts that they recognize you after you've done this and they didn't recognize you when you were a no one, right?
And I think it's like tricky because
You know, I was stunned by how I know all this stuff, but like as a parent, how I'm like, I'm a classic Indian parent, man.
My kid came home with a B, she's nine.
And I was like, this is unacceptable.
Are you really like that?
