Well, I want them to prioritize their mental health.
And that sounds like such a platitude, right?
But it's so important.
Something that's very unique and different about my book is that there is a huge emphasis on mental health.
Because I've seen it all.
At this point, I've seen and treated so many patients.
And the differentiating factor in all the different diagnoses and types of challenges that I've encountered with my patients
The common thread between the patients that emerge from the journey and they have their relationships intact, their sense of self intact, is that they prioritize their mental health.
It's not a sprint.
It's a marathon.
And don't be cocky.
I was cocky.
When I went through treatment, I'm like, I'm doing my cycles where I work.
I'm the expert.
I know what's going on.
Obviously, I didn't treat myself.
I went to one of my wonderful colleagues.
But when things didn't go according to plan, I had a cycle that was canceled due to low response.
I had a retrieval where I woke up and had two eggs retrieved and nothing turned into embryos.
That actually really threw me for a loop because I thought, okay, I'm doing this as prevention.
