Just relax.

Those are the things that are very triggering to people, even though it's seemingly helpful.

Educate yourself.

I always say when I'm talking about my book that I didn't just write it for people that are trying to get pregnant or thinking about pregnancy for themselves.

But also I wrote it for the moms, the partners, the friends, the community around people going through this so that you can unburden the person that's dealing with enough on their own and say, OK, you just share this book because it's so easy to understand that you don't have to be in the trenches of infertility to care enough to read it.

Right.

You can learn a lot.

And I think when people educate themselves,

And that's a way of showing up that is so meaningful and helpful versus platitudes or not showing up at all because you're like, oh, this is awkward.

I don't even know what to say.

That's the worst thing you can do.

And the worst, worst thing you can do is if you are lucky enough to not experience this, but your friend is going through infertility, don't not tell them that you're pregnant.

Don't not invite them to your baby shower and treat them differently because
