So we're going to get into all the nutrition and pregnancy details and why it matters so much and some of the research, particularly around epigenetics and how people understand that.
Before we dive in, I want you to share a bit about your story.
You know, your book is nine months to count forever.
And it's very personal for you.
You had a baby.
So take me back to when you were 31 and when you had your first pregnancy and kind of walk me through the journey to how you got to this moment where you want to tell the world that pregnant women should pay attention to what they eat.
And you blame yourself.
And by the way, as a doctor, I've delivered 500 babies.
Miscarriages are the body's natural way of taking care of something that's not right.
Like you said.
But usually you don't know that.
You don't know that it's kind of nature's way of taking care of things that aren't right.
Yeah, it's hard.
It's emotionally really hard.
You say your womb is not just an oven.
Although it does deplete you.
Yeah.
Like mercury.
