I'm using it actually all the time in patients who are at high risk of breast cancer.

Yeah, the issue is the way that birth control works is mainly through the progesterone and progestins.
It's the progestins specifically that feedback on the brain to tell the ovary not to ovulate.
So the estrogen component is not the most important part of birth control.
I did not know that is a fact.
It is the progesterone.
