What's the opportunity?
The opportunity is try having intimacy in the morning.
You might be surprised at how well it works.
I hear that a lot from men.
But the truth of the matter is, if I could show you a time period where you and your partner would enjoy better, it could be interesting.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
If you didn't have cortisol, you'd be dead.
So to be clear, you want to have cortisol and you want it to move up and down at very particular times.
Cortisol is the fight or flight hormone.
Cortisol is the thing that gives you so much energy to pull you out of whatever state you're in.
So in our example, cortisol is powerful enough to pull you out of a state of unconsciousness.
But we use cortisol during the daytime all the time.
So as an example, if you're walking down the street and somebody's coming at you and you think that they could harm you and you want to run away, that's cortisol.
So we want cortisol.
Cortisol is not bad for your body.
Cortisol is not so great at two o'clock in the morning.
We don't want to do things that could propagate cortisol late in the evening time.
So as an example, what you don't want to do is watch Game of Thrones starting at midnight, right?
That's probably going to increase your cortisol.
It's probably going to make it difficult for you to fall asleep or something along those lines.
