Stroke had the advantage that unlike chronic pain and tenderness, we know exactly what causes it.
So my team switched to stroke because there's no controversy about stroke.
No one's faking it.
I can measure it very easily.
I can see the hole in the head.
I can see their functions.
With tinnitus and chronic pain, you can't know.
Spinal cord injury, same thing.
You know what causes spinal cord injury.
They had a fight or a car accident or a fall or a boating accident.
For PTSD, it's the only mental illness we know what causes it.
