And then there's what we call an overactive type bladder.
And that's more to do with the integrity of the bladder, that it's the nerves to the bladder.
Now, that can be due to particularly age, menopause, but also it can be more prominent in some
Cases like, for example, if you're a diabetic and some people have the mixed.
So the urge one would be more the key in the door.
You can't get into the house quick enough.
You're absolutely dying.
You have to just drop everything in the supermarket and run to the toilet.
And some people have a mixed picture.
And the treatments are different for each individual.
One, and the bladder is so, so, so complex that it's really important to see an expert when we're trying to work out what's the best way to move forward.
Well, as I said, I mean, the statistics are two thirds of women.
And if you have a nod like... It seems extraordinary.
I know, I know.
But that's a reality.
And I suppose primarily I work in the west of Ireland and north and south, you know, from North Donegal to North Cork.
And, you know, that's where I would have my patients.
And I think the more west we go, we're more conservative.
We don't like talking about, you know, women's issues.
It's a very private thing.
