But my point is, you got to think that God chose this nation, and then he's given them the law, and they have the scriptures, and they're basing it all on that. They're like, well, we're God's. And that's what he was up against. I think that means more when you look at it like that, which is why I think we get to the next stage when he goes back to that manna. Remember when he said in verse 17 of chapter 1, for the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. So he's not saying, look, the law was bad. He was saying it led everything, including your whole nation, to me. Yeah. Which is why I read that about I came to fulfill it.
