When he came out, I remember saying in the class, you know, and I'd always have these moments when I'd be talking in class about really big guys who kind of came out.

Because you're sitting there with like 25, 30 boys.

And you know, statistically, there's a good wallop of them in there who are hiding their sexuality and are scared of it.

And more, I'd say, who are questioning and all the rest of it.

And over the years, I would say the amount of kids who left that school that I worked in, who sent me an email to say, would I meet them?

You know, in Maynooth, I'm thinking one guy, you know, and his mom, just a gorgeous kid.

I met him in Maynooth.

He said, would you come out and meet me in Maynooth?

I said, yeah, no worries.

And just said, you know, I just want to meet you to let you know I'm gay, you know.

And I always said to him, well, that's beautiful.

And I said, I really appreciate that you brought me to say that.

But I said, wouldn't it be great if we could get to a society where this isn't... You don't have to even tell because it doesn't make any difference.

Your sexuality is yours and my sexuality is mine and we just like celebrate each other.

And he's like, yeah.

And I said, but this moment means an awful lot to you, doesn't it?

And he goes, yeah, this is... I've been thinking about how to say this.

And I was just like...
