I know some colleagues that are working on, you know, they have a program for women that they meet every hour for eight weeks or what have you, that kind of a thing.
But I think that just the health system in general is just starting to look at how can we better utilize group visits.
Because I think the one-on-one, and Dr. Berry, you can also chime in on this, it's great for individualized care, but it's not scalable.
Meaning it's, you know, the one visit you get, and also patients get maybe 15 minutes with a provider.
I know I come in with my list and I'm like, here's what I have.
This is my priority, just so I can make sure we hit everything.
Because you just don't have time, unfortunately, how the healthcare system is set up.
So I think that we haven't necessarily explored the full impact that we could really have with group visits.
You have that camaraderie, that peer-to-peer relationship.
Learning the support network, the connection piece.
That's one thing we haven't talked about either is how important connection and social connections are through life and also through the lifespan.
And we know social isolation itself is a risk factor for chronic disease in early childhood.
I'm a huge proponent of being able to utilize that idea of group visits.
I think it's just starting to emerge on what that might look like.
It's a it's a total different shift from what we've also been realizing because I I think in the US we're like, well, this is my health care.
