I think what happens is that we have this alarm in our system. So we have this trauma that's too much for us to bear. I don't like using the word trauma too much, but You have this wounding, typically from our childhood, that's too much to bear. Typically, anxious people are sensitive. So there's this wounding, this alarm that lights up in our system that we're not even aware of.
