This may not be such a big breakthrough, but a lot of those, even though you can hatch a chick in lots of different types of membranes, they're often not very healthy because they don't get enough oxygen.
So, I mean, while this is a press release, it may be interesting because the idea of an artificial egg, while it might not be helpful to bring back the moa, and many people in New Zealand do not want that to happen, it might be helpful when you think about more ethical farming practices or indeed to support species that are still alive who would need additional support.
