If the answer is no, then it's absolutely do not go into hyperbaric chamber right now. Because we ought to wait three to six months, have you find an integrative provider, work with me, work with somebody else that can at least help you understand more what's going on under the hood. Have you changed your diet? Have you changed your behaviors? Are you still eating McDonald's, drinking alcohol?

Are you still, you're going to the gym and you can't do that because whatever, whatever it might be. The key for me is to understand where people are, you know, in that sense. But because what a lot of people, even the researchers in the hyperbaric field will tell you is that we don't study people after we finish their hyperbaric protocol. We don't know how they do afterwards, right?

This is, and the classic one here is our, my friends in Israel who did a great, great study on longevity, looking at how hyperbaric therapy can be a potential longevity tool, decreasing the telomeric age, decreasing the number of senescent cells in the body, which are zombie cells, which are these cells that build up as we get older. They're these cells in our body that cause degeneration.

They can cause risk of cancer, risk of inflammatory diseases, autoimmune problems, and things like that. What hyperbaric therapy can do is decrease the number of those cells. Great. Fantastic. But after a hyperbaric protocol, how long does that last? Nobody knows. And so what was cool about that study is that they didn't change diet. They didn't change any lifestyle.

They didn't change any behavior. Well, they can't for a study because those are other things that they would be changing and that gets confounding and all these other things with studies. But In general, that was very exciting to me, that study.

It was like, well, if they were able to do this without changing anything else, what could we do if we did change all those other things too or optimize them?

In essence, your question on fibromyalgia is a fantastic one because most of the time, if you're not working with an integrative provider and working on foundational health metrics, then it's not the time to go into a hyperbaric chamber if you want long-term benefits.

Well, the way I would say it is this. What hyperbaric therapy is able to do is improve immune system function, improve the immune system, and the ability of the immune system to suppress infection as a result of having a more optimized immune system is absolutely the case.

And we've seen this before, and it's pretty well studied in the sense that this kind of goes to the conversation of these chronic viral syndromes, chronic Lyme even, and things like that. where if you can improve the immune system itself, you can often see the body kind of take care of itself in the sense that oftentimes, you're never going to have this virus completely go away.

If it's an HSV virus, if it's a herpes zoster, or if it's a varicella virus, et cetera, these things stay in our nervous systems and they are... once we're infected with them, they're not going to go away completely. The cure is a very difficult word here, but can your immune system fully suppress these and make them so they're inactive? The answer is absolutely, right?
