And as a clinician, I wanted to make sure we all, there's four docs on the team, including me, and we wanted to make sure that every product that we made, we would want to use with our families, with our patients in clinical practice as well. So we've had to throw out a whole bunch over the years that didn't meet our spec.

And so that's a big thing with methylene blue is making sure you're getting good quality stuff. And so we test every batch. We make sure that everything is up to exactly what our specs should be, which is, you know, very, very low or zero heavy metals. And, you know, this is something you should be asking, you know, the companies that you're looking at. It's difficult to dose in some ways too.

Like a lot of the companies will make drops, like little dropper, a Bethlehem blue that you have to kind of drop out and you don't know exactly how much you're getting. And we have tested a lot of the drops ourselves. And the potency is not what's usually on the label. Oftentimes, it's like 20% to 60% less than what they're actually telling you. And drops are also very messy.

So we developed something called a troche, or T-R-O-C-H-E, which is a dissolvable lozenge that can go up between your upper cheek and gum. But it can also be swallowed as well.

Methylene blue, the nice thing about it is that it's highly bioavailable, which means that almost 100% of it gets into the system, whether you get it in IV, which of course would be 100% bioavailable, or if you just take it in a trochee or you swallow it. And so that's nice about it is you can just swallow it. Although if you want a blue mouth, you can put it up here and let it dissolve.

What's nice about the blue mouth for some people though, is that It works faster this way. So trochees are nice because if they dissolve in the mouth up between your upper cheek and gum, they're going to go in the system faster. They're going to get the effect faster.

If you have a lot of chronic brain fog and other issues, like mentally, like up here will potentially be a benefit, but you have to balance that with having potentially a blue mouth overall. We have a lower strength called JustBlue. We have a higher strength called TroPlusBlue.

The higher strength is more for infection, for acute mitochondrial support, and the lower strength is more for mitochondrial optimization overall.

Good question. So if you're coming in with a chronic complex medical illness, then oftentimes it's going to be something you want to take regularly for a period of time. It may be two weeks, it may be four weeks, it may be a couple months, maybe even longer in some people. And that's totally okay as long as you're monitoring things over the time, hopefully working with a practitioner.

But very low doses are very, very safe when it comes down to it. We're talking about 4, 8, 16 milligrams. This is all very, very low dose and all very, very, very safe. If you're getting to be like above 50, especially above 100 milligrams a day of methylene blue, then that's more of an anti-infective dose.
