And there are lots of things that we can do to improve the covers or the pillows.
But where the biostimulator works is in the mattress.
So that's where I kind of tell my clients where we're working with a biostimulator.
Sure.
So...
There's sort of the OG, the original two were PLLA, which is known as Sculptra, which is made from dissolvable suture material, put it bluntly.
There is one which is calcium hydroxyapatite, which is Radiesse.
And then the newer ones that we've seen are Profilo, which is a covalently bonded hyaluronic acid.
Mm-hmm.
You've got Sunicoss, which is six amino acids and a hyaluronic acid component too.
You have, by Allergan, Harmonica, which is a HA plus calcium hydroxyapatite.
Yeah, correct.
And there's a couple other ones out there, but those are probably the main ones that we would hear on a day-to-day basis.
Oh, no, some of them can be used in different
Some of them work well in certain areas and some of them will work well with certain patient types.
So it's important to take a history from a patient, work out exactly what they're trying to achieve, how fast they're trying to achieve it, whether they've had any surgery, whether they're going to have any surgery because some of the bar stimulators are not a contraindication to plastic surgery.
It certainly doesn't make it impossible, but it can make it harder.
More time, more time, more stress for the surgeon as well.
So some of the surgeons say, you know, they don't want you to have the inflammatory biostimulators two years before you're going to have surgery.
So if someone's coming in and said, I'm going to have a facelift in a month or in a year, then probably going to reduce the usage of this particular biostimulator.
