Cleansing may be something that's beneficial for you to take off that excess sebum. If you're one that has dry skin, if you're one that had sensitive skin as a child, then over-cleansing is going to be a problem. So when we think about the scalp, when we think about dry or flaky scalp, we think about two main conditions, either seborrheic dermatitis, which is medical grade dandruff, or the medical name for dandruff, or psoriasis.
