The first thing she said when I walked in, she said, I asked you a favor.
I said, what?

And I didn't mark anxiety because I didn't want you to blame my symptoms for my anxiety.
And I looked at her, I'm like, this is the last office.
I would be the last person standing on this planet that would do that to you.
As I started listening to her, classic endometriosis patient, she's 50 years old, painful periods.
She said, I've been to a hundred emergency rooms.
I know every emergency room in every country I've ever visited.
I've, she never got married because she had painful sex.
She couldn't have sex.
She had severe pain.
She would stay at home.
She would lose her jobs, right?
Never had children, just chronic pain, completely anxious, guarded, right?
Shows up to my office.
I'm probably the hundredth doctor she's seen.
And all she wanted to hear me say is you have endometriosis, right?
This is the story of these patients.
